Siraut, Philippe & Catherine

Philippe and Catherine Siraut are members of the evangelical Pentecostal church L’Empreinte, in Delémont, which is in the canton of Jura, in Switzerland.
Philippe met the Lord in June 1999, during the illness of his first wife, who succumbed to her illness. He then remarried in 2002, to Catherine, a long-time Christian. They have six children, ranging in age from young children to young adults.

Very soon after his conversion, Philippe was involved in various roles in a traditional church. Soon enough, however, he felt the need to go further: the need to experience the communion of the various ministries, to make the gifts of all Christians flourish, to give free and true worship to his Lord, to live every aspect of God’s plans today as it was 2000 years ago, and to take his place as a Christian in the various spheres of society, in order to shine divine glory wherever the Lord led him.

During the opening of the RiseUp centre in Perpignan, France, Philippe met Alain Caron and Jean-Pierre Leroux, and it was confirmed that he was not outside of his divine call, and he fully respects the apostolic vision of the Hodos network.

Since then, he has been active in bringing this vision to life, whether in Switzerland or in France, and is aligned with Hodos and the Le Chemin Apostolic Centre, which he visits whenever he can do so. He has also organized visits to Switzerland for several members of Hodos.

At the church level, Philippe is convinced of the need for local churches to work together, despite their differences, to advance the kingdom of God, and he is personally involved in helping see that happen.

Besides that, as a training engineer, Philippe has worked for many years in the business world so that Christians can take a prominent place and testify about what they are experiencing day-to-day in their companies.

Aware that the daily life of all citizens, whether Christian or not, is governed by numerous rules, decrees, and laws concocted at the political level of their city, in 2011, Philippe also led the Evangelical Party of his canton, to ensure they would be defence of Christian values in the political realm.

Lastly, in 2017, he launched a non-profit association, modelled on The Ideal Way, to provide concrete support to the poor in his city.
