Marculey and his wife Christina have been married for twelve years. They have two children, Christhersen and Lloyd Patrick. Marculey has an interesting spiritual heritage and a unique professional pedigree that combines over fifteen years of senior project management experience with expertise in community economic development (CED). Marculey‘s parents are the co-founders of United Evangelical Church in Haiti, and led that church for over thirty years; as a result, Marculey has been involved with that ministry in varying capacities from a very young age.
Marculey is a co-founder of PEER Servants Canada and currently serves as the agency’s executive director. It is a registered non-profit organization that aims to lift the poorest from poverty. PEER Servants Canada coaches men and women on how to lead holistic and sustainable development in Haiti according to biblical principles. They empower the materially poor through leadership training, education, and community economic development. PEER Servants Canada shares PEER Servants USA‘s vision to enable tens of thousands of the materially poor and non-poor to experience economic, social, and spiritual transformation. They are a group primarily composed of volunteers, who partner with indigenous, autonomous, microfinance institutions in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Marculey also serves as a technical advisor for PEER Servants USA.
Marculey’s professional vocation for over fifteen years has been community economic development (CED) and microenterprise. Throughout his career, Marculey has focused on implementing sustainable programs in the poorest communities in Haiti. He has occupied positions that have put him in the front line of the fight to overcome poverty, namely with organizations like CARE and World Relief.
Marculey’s passion is to be a true servant first and to deliver the message of hope to the poor and the non-poor around the world. He wants to be defined, not by his education or position, but by being a humble servant in the kingdom.
