Gigi and Lyne live life with passion. The business world is where they thrive.
While Lyne was born and raised speaking French in the province of Quebec, Gigi grew up in communist Romania, where he had to line up for hours every day just to get bread and basic necessities for his family. Believing that life had more to offer, he dreamed of escaping to the free world. His dream came true at the age of nineteen, when he immigrated to Canada with his family. With no money to his name, and unable to speak English, he worked hard to integrate into a new culture. Two years later, he launched into the business world and learned that overcoming adversity is an important key to success. After getting married, and with Lyne’s encouragement and support, the family business grew and took the Moldovans to many countries.
Gigi and Lyne, along with their son Zack and daughter Alexa, are based in British Colombia and currently live in Germany, where they are all learning their fourth language. Lyne has the privilege of homeschooling their children while the family is travelling throughout Europe.
The Moldovans firmly believe that “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1). Their deepest desire is to live out the kingdom of God, challenging people to go beyond who they are and to discover what they are destined to become.
