Marc Kagisye is the pastor of the Life Center in Burundi, a church he founded with his wife, Betty, in 2005. The Life Center now has more than two thousand members. It is an influential church that is followed by many people from Europe, America, and the African region of the Great Lakes.
Marc and Betty have been married since 1999. They were born again in the 1990s; they are the fruit of a spiritual revival that swept through Burundi at that time – a revival that saw several young people from the capital city of Bujumbura receive the message of salvation. During their youth, they were influenced by evangelization that was led by the late Pastor David Ndaruhutse, a great man of revival in Central Africa. Marc and Betty have two daughters, Ndaruhutse Tchierza and Mugisha Illana.
Pastor Marc is a preacher who is passionate about the Word, with a message centered on the transformation that we experience with salvation. He is also a lecturer who travels all over the world, equipping the body of Christ, especially leaders and married couples.
