Michael and Floryn are the founders and directors of Lion of Judah Ministries, Canada. They have served in both evangelical and Messianic Jewish circles since 1982 and since 1985 they have been instrumental in planting three Messianic congregations in Canada. Floryn and Rabbi Michael served as the spiritual leaders of Kehilat Ariyeh Yehudah (Lion of Judah Assembly) in Montreal for ten years before moving to Israel in 2007. Michael was a member of the national team of Watchmen for the Nations for many years, served on the executive of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of Canada, as an advisor for Canadian Women’s Aglow, and on the boards of many other organizations.
Their current ministry is quite diverse:
- They travel internationally as conference speakers, teaching on the biblical relationship between Israel and the church
- They spend winters in Israel, with Michael serving as both a pastoral elder in a local assembly and in humanitarian aid and community development projects
- They spend their summers in Canada, working across the nation in an itinerant, apostolic-style ministry
Their vision, simply stated, is to see the kingdom and glory of God come wherever they serve, and to be used in whatever fashion is needed in order to see that accomplished.
