Gauvreau, Michel & Manon

Michael and Manon are from Montreal. They were married in 1978 and have three children and eight grandchildren. They received the call of God in 1980 and had hands-on training in the field all across Quebec for fifteen years up until November 1995, when the Lord established them in Salaberry de Valleyfield.

The church was started in 1940, so it will be celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2015. It has a rich history and has seen many changes that have led it to the Apostolic Reformation. This community was the responsibility of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada until 2005, and we are very grateful to them. After several years of spiritual warfare, prayer and perseverance, the church now has incredible support and a great reputation in the community, as well as with the civil and municipal authorities.

Église Carrefour du Suroît now aspires to see the Body of Christ enter into all facets of Biblical revelation as well as all the promises of God. ECS is working to conquer spiritual ground because the church of Quebec has an urgent need to experience a powerful revival—one of unity, love, and mutual collaboration between churches of different denominations or associations, in order to experience true fellowship throughout the body of Christ, and thus see souls come to the Lord. Our mission statement is summed up in two sentences: a church after God’s heart, at the service of its community. ECS is more than a church, it’s a family!
