Denis, Michel & Serena

Michel and his wife Serena are the founders of the National Christian Centre Hope for the Generations, in Chandler, Gaspésie.

After a long period of waiting and reflection in the Lord’s presence, during which they ministered as shepherds for several years in a church in the region, far from major centres, their great adventure finally began in 2014.

Being deprived of certain resources, whether relational or structural, this isolation birthed a vision in their hearts, with the primary mandate of reaching “the Others”. This is when a new start, a new direction, invaded their hearts. Filled with peace, joy and determination, they decided to meet the challenge of seeing the glory of God rise up on the Gaspé Peninsula and the surrounding area. They are surrounded by a team to accomplish the mandate to go and make disciples and announce the Good News (Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 15:20).

Not forgetting the important work of unity and fellowship within the body of Christ, they launched a movement as an emergency call to support both churches and pastors, brothers and friends, in order to stop the isolation that can sometimes breakdown the dynamics of spiritual leaders, as well as the life of an emerging church.Their passion is to be useful workers both for the church in transformation and for this world that is in distress. “Together for the cause, the cause of Christ, so that more may be saved.”
